PARTICIPANT LIABILITY AND RELEASE WAIVER

By voluntarily participating in any Aligned Yoga class, training, workshop, or other service I agree to the participant terms of this agreement including the acknowledgements below:

As a participant in yoga classes, programs, workshops, online materials, and events offered by ALIGNED YOGA & THE HOME RETREAT STUDIO during which I will receive information and suggestions about yoga, health, and fitness; I recognize that the activities I participate in at ALIGNED YOGA & THE HOME RETREAT STUDIO may require physical exertion which may be strenuous and may cause aggravated physical injury, and I am fully aware of and willingly assume the risk and hazards involved.

I understand that it is my sole responsibility to consult with a physician prior to my participation in any of the classes, programs, workshops, online materials, and events at ALIGNED YOGA’S HOME RETREAT STUDIO  I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and have no medical condition which would prevent my participation in these activities.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any of the classes, programs, workshops, and events at ALIGNED YOGA’S HOME RETREAT STUDIO, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risk, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participation in the activity. I agree to inform my instructors of any physical limitations, discomfort and or injuries before or during classes and I take full responsibility for my own actions and my own limitations.

In further consideration of being permitted to participate in any of the classes, programs, workshops, and events at ALIGNED  YOGA’S HOME RETREAT STUDIO, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive, renounce and disclaim any claim I have or may have against ALIGNED YOGA, LLC  its instructors, contractors, directors, partners, owners, and employees for loss, theft or damage of any personal property from the ALIGNED YOGA HOME RETREAT STUDIO premises, for injuries or damages that I may sustain within the ALIGNED YOGA HOME RETREAT STUDIO facility, and/or for injuries or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the classes, programs, workshops, and events at ALIGNED YOGA’S HOME RETREAT STUDIO. I forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue ALIGNED YOGA, LLC  for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts that are not intended to harm me.

PHOTO, IMAGE, CONTENT RELEASE

Any submissions to this website in either text or image form may be reproduced by ALIGNED YOGA for use on this site. I grant to ALIGNED YOGA, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and videos of me and my property in connection with my participation in ALIGNED YOGA classes and programs. I authorize ALIGNED YOGA, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that ALIGNED YOGA may use such photographs and videos of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. I hereby waive the right to receive any payment for signing this release and waive the right to receive any payment for ALIGNED YOGA’S use of any of the material described above for any of the purposes authorized by this release.

TUITION REFUND POLICY

All payments must be paid on or before their due date. The Application Fee is non-refundable except in the case of non-acceptance into the program. The cancellation of your attendance in the program can be made prior to 30 days before the first day of training with a full refund, less the Admission & Enrollment Fee and a 20% administrative fee. The cancellation of your attendance in the program less than 30 days before the first day of training is non-refundable. A partial tuition credit may be applied in this case toward future programs within a one (1) year window. Appropriate documentation of the emergency reason for your cancellation must be presented. After a program has started, no refunds can be given.  In the event a program is cancelled by Aligned  Yoga and not rescheduled, a refund will be issued for any portion of the program that is incomplete. Aligned Yoga reserves the right to terminate any student from any program. Aligned Yoga reserves the right to amend this policy.

PRIVACY POLICY

We may collect information from you when you register on our site, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form. Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs), To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you), To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs), To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature, To send periodic emails. The Home Retreat Studio Membership Terms and Conditions:

Your seasonal membership includes an optional 30 minutes after class to enjoy access to the HRS facilities which include but are not limited to:

-Soak in heated cedar tub (limit 4 people per plunge)

- Meditation loft and lending library

-Shower

-Relaxation time around the fire circle 

-Snacks & conversation in community

-Yoga swing playtime-explore inversions & poses in the swing

Cancellation policy

If you need to miss a class, no refunds can be given, but you may swap your class for another within the series, space permitting. Example: You’re registered for the Friday morning class series but you need to miss one. Contact Jenny to see if there is space available in the Wed evening class. 

Guidelines for Use:

HRS is a private oasis where all humans are respected and welcome to enjoy our space while adhering  to all posted guidelines. HRS welcomes all bodies, genders, ages, races and religions whose goal is to be an inclusive space that does not discriminate against any person for any reason. All guests must be registered members, enrolled in one or more program or series to receive access & use of the property.
